Things I could do over the summer

With around 77 days till I return to school, I really need to find some things to spend time on over the longest summer of my life. Some of these suggestions just might make the cut!

  1. Listen to an album every day - there are more than enough in my house
  2. Learn some Estonian - I already know "Kuula" means "listen" thanks to this
  3. Have a Blue Bloods day - we only own the first season on DVD, but that's still 15 hours and 1 minute
  4. Dance - We have all three main Just Dance games, and even without the wii I still enjoy moving to music
  5. Draw - I haven't done it in a while, but maybe I can hone my artistic skills?
  6. Write - I have many juvenile, unfinished ideas for novels; maybe I can will them closer to completeness?
  7. Swot up on my A-level subject choices - might be the most useful suggestion on this list
  8. Improve my writing with my right hand - it might be useful to have two hands to write with
  9. Meet up with friends - I suppose going outside a bit wouldn't hurt
  10. Blog, tweet, tumble etc.!
EDIT: 21:37 I just thought of another one:

   11. Dip ketchup flavoured crisps into ketchup, and eat

How time flies...

Met up with some friends from Primary school today, which was kind of odd since I haven't been in contact with most of them since we left almost four years ago. It was great to catch up again, but I still wondered how different life might be if we hadn't lost touch. Would we still hang out together? Would I have even made new friends?

Anyway, they haven't changed much and were still recognisable as my old friends; Megan kept commenting on how mature we all are (her in particular) and much mickey was taken out of Alex's new "Oldfield Girls'" posh accent and Chris's deeper voice (he didn't spike his hair up though!). Georgina, Gemma, Chris, Megan, Alex and I were there; the whole group apart from Amy, who had to have a blood test today because she had a brain tumour a few months ago. It was strange her not being there, and I really hope all is now well for her.

We had a laugh playing Just Dance 1 & 2 on the wii, and we watched The Simpsons Movie until it froze (at a very cool point) by which time Gemma was leaving and offered me a lift home, which I gladly accepted.

It was nice to see them all again, and I'll look forward to possible meet-ups in the future!
